A new tool for planning tours for Waste Management
With the FollowMe editor — a web application for tour planning in waste management — a tour can be clicked into the map in a matter of minutes. With another click the tour is sent to a specialized GPS app capable of guiding drivers along even the most complex routes. Download the app here.
A new look was not the primary reason why we have further developed the FollowMe editor. The main purpose of the project was to provide better usability as well as easier and faster operation. The new version is now completed and available. We are very proud of it!
The new interface — inspired by the colorful MapTrip design — and the faster everyday functions, are intended to make the relevant staff more efficient and help save time when tour planning for waste management, in winter services or for street cleaning.
Complex routes in particular are now much easier to view, create, and modify.
For customers who have previously used the editor, we can assure you that the many features of the FollowMe editor from the predecessor version are still available. A new feature is that the editor can be accessed via the internet: The new version is now browser-based and works with all common browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.
