Hours saved per year
- TomTom traffic information in real time
- Data for all road sections
- Always the currently fastest route
- More precise calculation of time of arrival (ETA)
MapTrip Truck calculates the fastest route based on real-time traffic data. This pays off in shorter journey times.
The calculation is based on a typical truck reference route of 800 km in length using navigation software with and without MapTrip Truck. The comparative measurement was carried out on six days in February 2023 at six different departure times from morning to evening. The average time saved on the reference highway route was 25 minutes. Source: own measurement.

Less data consumption per month
- More efficient route calculation
- Less mobile data required
- Save money on your cell phone tariff
Although MapTrip Truck uses live data, the software is very data-efficient. This pays off. When a vehicle is in use for 9 hours, comparable navigation systems consume up to 1.35 GB of data per month. MapTrip performs much better here with an average of 270 MB.

Save fuel costs per month
- The search for the cheapest gas station along the route is already integrated into MapTrip Truck
- Price and individual savings are displayed directly on the app
Filling up cheaply is very easy with MapTrip Truck. The difference between the most expensive filling station and the cheapest option can easily be more than 20 cents per liter.
In our example, we compared the cheapest diesel price on a reference route with the average prices at other filling stations on a key date in March 2023. In this case, the difference was 11 cents. Converted to average consumption, monthly mileage and your fleet, this gives you the savings.

Save fines
- MapTrip Truck contains the truck-relevant travel restrictions along your route
- Prohibitions and restrictions are taken into account in the calculation
Fines are unpleasant and put a direct strain on your margins. MapTrip Truck contains very precise data on restrictions such as clearance heights.
The fine for ignoring clearance heights is 100€. In our example, we assume one fine per vehicle in your fleet, which can be avoided with MapTrip Truck.

When every second counts
The navigation system that the fire departments trust
Since 2000, MapTrip has been developing specialized truck navigation for all industries where the minute counts. Or to the second, because MapTrip is one of the preferred solutions for rescue services and fire departments. MapTrip is the optimal navigation solution for blue light operations because it takes into account the special requirements of emergency vehicles. Unlike conventional navigation systems, MapTrip adapts the route specifically to the driving style of the fire department and police in order to guide them efficiently and safely to their destination. Thanks to the editor you have the opportunity to customize the navigation map according to your needs. You can add and remove roadworks or road closures to ensure that MapTrip 112 navigates roads that are closed to other road users. In addition, turning restrictions can be lifted to ensure smooth navigation at intersections.
More security
Special functions for blue light driving are crucial for getting to the scene quickly and safely. With the special navigation MapTrip 112 you can, for example, avoid closed roads and switch off turning restrictions. The navigation also takes into account vehicle data such as height, width and weight to plan routes that are suitable for the specific emergency vehicle. This means you’ll never get stuck in streets that are too narrow or in a construction site.
Constantly evolving
At infoware we are constantly working on the further development of MapTrip Navigation. Integration into an availability system like DIVERA 24/7 is just one of them. We are constantly developing our software to meet the requirements of the fire departments. With MapTrip you can edit your map data individually and add missing roads, edit and add truck restrictions.
Ideal for developers
MapTrip offers very powerful interfaces. The MapTrip Server API is particularly suitable for the control center. The route displayed in the control center must match the navigation app. MapTrip and the server API ensure this by using the same routing algorithm and map data. Synchronization functions ensure that the planned route is identical to the turn-by-turn GPS navigation in the vehicle.
