Raising costs? Save on fuel.
Current fuel prices are a challenge for dispatchers and drivers. We can’t change the prices, but with the help of the MapTrip fuel station display, refueling routes can be optimized.
This already works during route planning in the browser with MapTrip Maps – and of course while driving with MapTrip Truck for smartphone or the integrated MapTrip solutions.
In the app, prices for all fuel types are visible and stations can be navigated to directly. A useful detail is that the app informs you how much you saved compared to the average price.
The app shows you the cheapest fuel station along your route, including nearby stations with minimal detour. To set it up, go to Settings and enable “Show fuel prices”. A fuel station icon will then appear in the overview, giving you access to detailed info, prices, payment methods, and a sortable list of all stations along the route. By selecting “Insert fuel stop”, the chosen station is added directly to your navigation. After refueling, MapTrip can calculate your savings compared to the average price.
